New Year, New Projects

For 2014 my goal was to take at least one photo of my kids each and every week, and thankfully I can say I accomplished just that. I am so looking forward to getting a book made with my Project 52 photos - it's going to be a special one.

For 2015, I have a couple of projects in mind and I can't wait to get into them full swing. My amazing husband bought me my first medium format camera for Christmas this year. In order to learn film better, my goal is to shoot at least one roll of MF film per month, and at least one roll of 35mm film per month - I would love to do more, but lets face it. Film gets expensive. I've finished my first roll of MF for January, but I'll be sending in everything together at the end of the month, so expect to see some stuff mid-February (if it turns out...) Or who knows, maybe I won't be able to wait til the end of the month. I guess I do need to know if I'm operating this thing correctly!

The 2nd project is less of a monthly type thing...it's more of a creative/making/sewing type project I plan to do with my kids. It may be every month, it may not. It could be more or less frequent, but I want to make a conscious effort to make more with them. And of course I'll photograph them with whatever was made. How could I not...?! And I'm happy to say that the first project is actually done!

Anyway, I'm sure some names will be popping up for these projects in the coming weeks. All I know is I am so looking forward to 2015 and making it an amazing year with my family.
